3c's, how are you wearing your hair today?

I'm having a great hair day today but I couldn't get a good looking picture. Oh well.

I was wearing it in a wash'n'go but now I have it loosely tied back in a bun since I'm home now.

Today I shampooed (with Tresemme Naturals low sulfate shampoo) and applied Tresemme Naturals conditioner in the shower after I rinsed out the shampoo. I then rinsed out the Tresemme before I got out of the shower and put on my microfiber turban.

My hair sometimes can't absorb conditioners and products well when my hair is soaking wet, so that's why I had my turban on.

I changed quickly and took my turban off. My hair was still quite wet but not "fresh from the shower head" soaking. I mixed some Nature's Gate conditioner with Giovanni conditioner and a few drops of Wonder 8 oil. I let it sit in my hair for a couple of hours with a plastic cap.

I then combed and detangled my hair. I took my paddle brush and went over my detangled hair (first time doing that). It really distributed the conditioner mixture and made my hair clumpy. I rinsed that out. And then I put on my turban again!

After a few minutes, I took off my turban, and applied some Wonder 8 oil and a bit of coconut oil to my hair. I then scrunched in some Live Clean Argan Oil creme and then scrunched in two generous blobs of KMF Upper Management gel. I let it air dried.

At first, my hair didn't have much volume. I was disappointed. But as it dried, it got its volume back. But it wasn't poofy. Just the perfect amount of volume.

My hair looked really shiny and my curls were really well defined. My hair was not crunchy.

Oh and to compliment the look: Large silver hoop earrings and fuchsia lipstick!
Hair type: Mostly 3C, medium porosity to high porosity depending on the day, dense, fluffy, dry, tangly!

Wearing my first wash n go in almost two years. Results are not terrible, not fabulous, just okay. I'm trying to cut down on the manipulation so I'm giving up the daily twist outs. But I'm happy to see that my wash n go length today is actually a bit longer than my twist out length four months ago (as in my avatar). Yay for growth!

Did a WNG with Ouidad Climate Control Gel. It sucks. But I am convinced that if you glam it up and carry an I'm the ish attitude people will compliment you even when your hair looks a mess.

I've got a cold, so I haven't felt like doing anything with my hair for the last couple of days...

However!.... I just discovered something today. My hair is now long enough to bun! (YAY! ) OK... so it's a messy bun, with kinks sticking out everywhere, but it's still a bun!

I don't think my natural curls were ever this long, so it's a momentous occasion!

It's amazing how we can have the SAME curl type (or whatever) and have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT textures, shrinkage and everything.

Your hair is so long and lovely with looser curls ..my ringlet spirals are so TIGHT. I want them to fall
