What are some cute ways to pull your hair up and still show off your curls?

I have to wear my hair up at least 4 days a week because of my uniforms. In my class A's I have to keep my hair up and off my collar and in my Class B's I only have to pull it back.

What are some cute ways to pull my curls back and still show them off?

I have medium length layered 3a curls. Thanks! =)
this isn't anything new, but I pull my bangs back with bobby pins into kind of a puff, and then pull the rest of it up into a high ponytail with a scrunchy that matches my hair color so you can't see it, and let the curls fall all around it to cover up the scrunchy...
then I pin a flower or two up into the side of the ponytail curls....it always feels cute without making me feel like I have a lazy slouchy pony.

I'm no help. I have no clue. I never wear my hair up.

Cleansing: Suave Tropical Coconut Condish

I clip my fringe back and to the side and then basically just grab the back of my hair, twist it up and clip it with a big pretty clip.. Leaving some ringlets out at the front (because some layers aren't long enough to get in the clip)
CG since June 2010.
3a, normal (edging on high) porosity, medium texture.
Still not settled on products.

This is about as far as I go with putting my hair up:

Ok, I don't belong in the 3a section -- just browsing, you guys have stuff I can relate to here! -- but I just wanted to second what Lucky Charm said. Your bangs look phenomenal, RacerWife! How on earth did you get your bangs to curl so perfectly like that? I can't stop looking at that pic -- they're incredible!!!!!

I just saw this...I"m such a moron when it comes to posting pics...I plan on getting my teenager to help me while I'm on vacation next week, so I'll def get him to take a pic of my flower pony.

Janet...more kuddos on your bangs!! woo hoo!!

I like to go to sleep with it in a high (slightly wet) ponytail, and when I waked up it's used to being like that, I put the ponytail up high, and my bangs down on one side. I always get compliments on it. One thing to remember is not to brush/comb away the little bumps on the head where the hair is pulled back. Huge ones means you need to redo the pony, but large-ish ones should just be lightly pinned with a bobby pin, while small ones should be left alone.

Thank you, generosityt! ...I'm still at odds with my bangs. And they haven't looked that good since that day and never looked that good before. LOL! So, it's still a struggle.

Can you do a "half-up", where you take the hair loosely back from your temple area or ear area and hold it in the back of your head with a pretty barrette or other small clip? That is one of my fave styles and I think it looks great on almost everyone. I like when the hair is pulled back loosely, so the wave/curl pattern isn't stretched and lost.

Might I add, Flexi 8 hair clips work wonderful for any updo/hair up with curly hair? Just sayin'
Wurly, fine, thin, moderately to heavily porous. Mod CG.

I like to do this:
Just pull all your hair back loosley in a low [B]MESSY[B] bun, but keep your bangs(if you have them) and a little strand on the opposite side down. Curl the strand & straighten your bangs. Add a flower if you feel like it!
What do you consider "medium length"?
I'm sure you have a lot of options. One thing I never do is brush my hair back when I'm putting it up or pulling it back. I just pull it back and do a little raking with my fingers to fix any huge lumps. This keeps the texture of the curl on the part against your head.
My hair is very long, but I have some pics on my blog (link below in my sig) that might give you some ideas. (I'm sorry I can't give you direct links right now)
