Need a DEEP CONDITIONER for MOISTURE (((ONLY)))!

Hey curlies,

I currently have extreme heat damage in certain areas of my head. The thing is, i can't do protein treatments on my entire head because I've already gotten an overload in a small area in the back of my head!

I'm having a VERY difficult time find a deep conditioner that focuses ONLY on moisture! Some claim to have moisture and slip, but they don't do much. The only conditioners that do the best for me so far are Aussie Moisture and Miss Jessie's RRT.

Can someone help me pleaseeee??
HAIR GOAL: Grow out heat damage and have a complete head of healthy curls!

Lovely 3C kinky-curls - HIGH Porosity - Massive amount of Heat Damage! wackk
POO : Giovanni 50/50 Balanced
CONDITIONER : Aussie (Co-Wash)
DEEP TREATMENT CONDITIONER : Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose[For Protein], still searching for a good MOISTURE conditioner, then a final rinse with ACV
STYLERS : KCKT + Unrefined Ghana Shea Butter
There are actually quite a few:

Biolage conditioning balm
Neutrogena's Triple Moisture DC
Curl Junkie I forget the name but they have one
Shescentit Avacado or Banana Brulee DC
Darcy Botanical DC
HairVeda Sitrinillah Masque
Devacurl DC

These are not DC per say but ...
Kinky Curly Knot Today
Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose
Tressemme Naturals
Hair Type: 3c/4a/4b, fine, normal porosity

^ she pretty much covered it..
the curl junkie one is Curl Rehab and its amazingggg
also another protein free conditioner (i believe) aside from the ones listed above is yes to cucumbers..
its not a dc but its super moisturizing and you can always mix it with honey to up the ante!
Have you tried making your own?
elucence moisture balancing is really good as a deep conditioner.
Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose, Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment, Curl Junkie Curl Rehab, Spiral Solutions Deeply Decadent Moisture Treatment
PJ Rehab 9/2011
If you are protein sensitive I wouldn't use AOHR, it has protein. Shea Moisture has a mask that's protein free for ten bucks at target.

Thanks ladies!

@twirlygranny, My protein overload actually came FROM Aubrey Organic HR, lol. Im just trying to find a nice (close to natural, SUPER thick) deep conditioner I can use on my hair that won't hurt my pockets.

Shea Moisture doesn't work for me AT ALL.

@Reeky, I definitely might try that one (yes to cucumbers). I've heard nothing but great things about that

I really want to try Jessicurl, Curl Junkie, and Spiral Solutions tho...but I don't want to buy it and it doesn't really work for me. Plus, the only place u can get it is the internet ! Sucks that we have to experiment and waste money with things. Ah well

I think curly nikki used to have a lot of recipes for homemade conditioners. You should check out her site Curly Nikki | Natural Hair Styles and Curly Hair Care

I make one with an avocado, honey and argan oil, all I did was mash up an avocado then I added a bit of honey maybe three tablespoons and then smoothed it out with oil until I had consistency I liked. I should mention that I use it as a protein conditioner. Even though I do not do well with animal protein (i.e.egg or mayo) plant proteins (henna, banana, avocado) work great for me not sure why anyway I only mention it because I think you mentioned something about having to much protein in your hair?

But i think that giving the CJ Rehab a try is really worth it. I have the most unruly curly hair I've ever seen..and it's just about the only conditioner I can use on a daily basis that helps with detangling.

I use it as a rinse out and leave-in...alot of people use it as DT.
