Quick question girls :)

Have any of you lovely 3a's tried the Shea Moisture line that Target carries? It's supposedly organic and really great for your hair.

This question is especially for my fine-hair ladies.

I don't want to shell out $20 on products if it's just going to weigh my hair down and make it look stringy.

Have a curl-ific day/evening my beautiful curly girls
right now a 2c/3a mix. waiting to see if it'll get curlier

low porosity, fine texture, fine density right now: (hair cutter thinned the heck out of it before i knew it was a no-no )

low poo: organix cherry blossom ginseng
Cowash: suave naturals pomegranate splash

using pantene pomade until i can get to the store, i want to try Shea Moisture: Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Hold Smoothie & Shea Moisture: Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist

I just bought some and tried it on my daughter who is a fine haired, normal porosity 3a/b? wavy? i dont even know anymore. I used the deep treatment masque (w/ sea kelp and argan oil) and the curl enhancing smoothie. The curl enhancing smoothie has the potential to be heavy and greasy if you use too much. I paired it with curl keelp one day and kccc another and both time her curls looked and felt great.

I haven't tried them because I was allergic to the Shea M LI. I wasn't disappointed because I hadn't gotten good reports. The one person I whose judgment I really trust bought and returned them.

Your hair properties are similar to mine. My hair prefers the more natural products. If you're willing to spend $20 on a product, I'd suggest some of the online boutique companies.

I've been using the Moisture Retention Shampoo and it seems like my hair is reacting to it... I tend to get stringy and dry afterwards. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas which ingredient could be the problem?
waves, loose coils, and cherub curls (=mixed 2s through 3a), very fine texture overall (but with medium and even coarse strands scattered throughout)
Could it be the Shea butter? After trying these products on myself I've come to the conclusion that my hair just doesn't care much for Shea butter. My hair feels dry and coated (it looks nice though), which is the same way it feels when I use raw Shea.
