I've been wearing buns since I started transitioning. I occasionally wear it down, so I'm down for the challenge. The weather is too hot right now for me to be wearing my hair down.
Products I'm currently :
  • Karen's Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia (Vanilla Latte scent)
  • Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk
  • Certified Organic Coconut Oil
  • Karen's Body Beautiful Heavenly Jojoba Oil
Staple Deep Conditioners: Giovanni Direct Leave-in and Karen's Body Beautiful Luscious Locks Hair Mask

Recent newbie to the Curly Girl Method
6 months post relaxer. I will be 7 months post September 17 !!
I've been wanting to join the summer bun challenge since the thread started but I didn't think my hair was long enough. I was kind of right but I figured out a workaround. The front of my hair is what's shorter so I did flat twists in the front and a bun with the back. So, I'm in!
I work weekends and I have a problem with people at work constantly touching my hair so I will be bunning on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and then wearing my hair out the remaining three days of the week.

Bun are easy and coconut oil is the best oil for it. My hair is blinging, now all I have to do it start doing some interesting style bc the high bun isn't going to cut it for too long.

Heck, I've been bunning non-stop since < day 1. I may wear my hair out Friday depending on the weather.

I'm thinking box braids more than likely.

It sounds like we all need to get together and come up with some bunning styles. I found a really good one from The Fiesty House Blog. She does a double side bun. It is really cute.
My buns have been boring lately just a low bun and a head band I did that both Tuesday and today.

I've been trying to upload pics but my curl talk app wont let me. Grrrrr

I'm getting bored with my buns myself. I think I'm going to do a henna/indigo gloss treatment tonight, deep condition and wear my hair out tomorrow for the first time in almost two weeks. I want to try some new products on WnG.

Been bunning everyday since eh... 3 weeks or so ago. did a half up, half down thangamajigger yesterday though. now that my hair is long enough to bun, I never want to take it out. the opposite of this "bun depression" ladies speak of lol

^^Cute!

Yesterday, I wore a basic bun. Well, I found a bug in it after my morning walk. So last night I decided to make a bun cover. That is how I am wearing it today, at least until after my walk.

Had my hair down for one day out of the weekend. Now it is in a twisted bun. Must have it down for daughter's graduation.
My twists were a fail. I knew that they would be. Twists never last in my hair. They always unravel. Oh well, today I am going to try mrsjaxn84's flat twists and bun.
