Congrats everyone who made it!!

I pretty much made it. I bunned 4-5 days a week (sometimes 6). It wasn't always fun, but my hair needed to be protected from the sun, wind and my clothes.

I would've loved to have joined this challenge but when I bun for more than two days, my hair in the back gets matted at the root, no matter how much I moisturize in between.

high porosity, med/coarse texture, high density, color treated

Anyone wanna do a fall bunning challenge? I think by the end of this month I should be able to do a teeny weeny bun ("twb", I just made that up). If no one starts one by then I'll do it.
"The challenge is to be yourself in a world that is trying to make you like everybody else."
"...rationality is not necessary to sell things.."
My staples: Mane n Tail (cowash), Garnier Fructis Sleek n Shine (leave in condish), Grapeseed oil or shea butter (sealing), Organic Root Stimulator Elasticitea (leave-in condish & light hold)
I'm still bunning by default. I don't remember the last time I've worn my hair down..
I will.

I did this challenge without even reading this thread, haha. My hair grew tremendously! Combined with bagging and using oils and butters

I think I might try a fall bun challenge. Last fall I was in twists the whole time. Hopefully my hair wont tangle too much!

I do it on damp hair to get it smooth with my hands and I Roll, French braid or French twist and pin the loose parts.

Always good to switch up the position of the bun so you're not putting tension on the same spot all the time.

I'd really like to start bunning for the fall and winter along with my no heat challenge, and until February probably, when I'll straighten my hair. Hopefully I'll see some good length! Do you take any vitamins? For hair growth or health?

No problem its taken me a while to figure out my own hair and I'm still learning too. No I don't take anything for hair growth. I've tried before but the pills were so huge lol I've just learned to be patient.
