Moisturized my hair with Oyin Hair Dew, used Darcy's Botanicals Curl Cream Gel to hold the edges and flyaways back and sealed with Shea Moisture Reconstructive Elixir.

Scratch me wearing my hair out today - my hair in the back was touching my cotton tshirt wrap thingie that I really want to wear, so I pulled my hair back in a low messy bun. I bobby pinned one side because my far bangs couldn't fit, but I'm pretty excited I was able to do this.

I'm in. I've pretty much been wearing my hair in a bun or pony puff type thing for about a month.

I'll post some starting length pics at some point. My buns are usually pretty boring. This is the one i just redid for today.
I like to add those phony pony things..the ones where u wrap it around ur ponytail/bun.

*clickable.* ugh my body looks mad awkward looking trying to take certain angles.

GNC, do you ever wear your hair in french rolls? I think your hair would look sooo damn pretty in one! Altho you could probably roll out the bed and still have nice hair l0l

I haven't really thought about it, but it sounds like a great idea! That would go in line with the challenge as well if I tried that....hmmmm...

greenandchic's bun is so sick!!!! totally loving it and very very jealous.

so here are my starting pix. did this bun on a braidout. i did the flat twists around the edges so the bun doesnt pull too tight. i moisturized with shea moistures curl enhancing smoothie n sealed with coconut oil for the braidout then b4 i did the bun i misted some water around my edges then smoothed some of my shea butter mix to soften them up and slick the edges since im not a huge fan of gel esp if im not washing my hair the next day.

im really looking forward to seeing how this all works out for everyone. lets hope i retain some serious length this summer! :-)

@tterrell - My bun was done on dried second day hair. I tried it with freshly washed hair in the past and my hair never dried in the middle.

Alright I'm a day late but I'm in! Gotta take pics. I can only do sock buns does that count? I covered my sock with an old satin scarf to keep it from drying me out. Please tell me im not a rule breaker

Last night I decided to drown my hair (sort of) in a rinse out conditioner and sealed with an oil due to the fact that my hair was feeling really dry for some reason. I twisted it in 4 sections and did the baggy method. This morning I put it in the same bun as yesterday, but a little on the messy side. No combing, not even figure combing, very low/little manipulation. My hair was super soft this morning.
