You have such beautiful thick hair, that thing might pop off and break in half!

Major props to buns for minimizing tangles.

@Elle - Works just like rollover minutes. Example: I get 3 non-buns a week. But if I bun all 7 days (instead of the required 4), I get to use my 3 extra days next week.

I don't even know if I'd do that though. I don't feel like dealing with my hair, and bunning is the bomb.com.

I see your point, there's just to many of those gorgeous thick strands of yours. but this is what i would do: I would secure my bun the way i normally do and then add the accessory, so i wouldnt try to secure my bun with it. I think that might work for you. Like i said your local bss probably has something similar you can pick up to try and if doesnt work you only lost a buck as opposed to 12 or 14 i forgot how much it costs.

I was wondering if maybe my hair is too thick for it to hold. That girl's hair is like 1/3 of mine lol.

@LeeLee I really think ponies should count! My hair is off my shoulders and it's actually less stress than a bun for me b/c I only need to place to scrunchie around my hair to hold it up, no looping or pulling.

@Saila What exactly will rollover bun days entail hmmmm?

@turtles Your bun looks cute! I still love your highlights.

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to have a bunning challenge.

The Challenge would be June 1sst - September 1st.

The rules would be:

- You have to have wear some type of bun at least 4 days a week.

- You don't have to be 3c to participate you can be whatever you wanna be..I'm probably not even 3C lol.

- That is all.

- Oh and You don't have to sleep in buns..unless you want to.

- ADDED!: You can't sleep with your hair down! (that just causes a disaster for me anyway)

Anyone can chip in some rules, I have no idea really.

I thought we could update with pictures of our buns if we make any creative ones.

I'll try and post a picture of my length before or on June 1st. I'm too lazy to do it right now.

Okay well I'm going to start now but it will officially start on june 1st.
I am definatly in! Thanks Elle for mentioning this! It should be easy since I really only wear my hair out for the weekends!

I tried doing this but it soooo did not turn out. I got really frustrated and just left the braids/twists in my hair and then tied my hair back in a bun. Cute! Although, if you didn't know I had braids in my hair, you couldn't really tell.

I think I'm going to try this again tomorrow but make more braids and some bigger braids. My hair is actually long enough to do that braid wrap around the head thingy, so I will try that too.

I really liked how my the braids/twists really helped my hair stay in place and really minimized the dreaded poofiness as the day rolls on.

+1 on the pony puffs!

I BCed in April and my hair just isn't long enough to pull this off. I could make the donut pretty easily but the hair at the nape of my neck and near the brow kept coming out...I used a hairpin to fix that problem but it was still a hot mess by the end of the day.

Thanks ladies! Yea, when I was relaxed my hair used to break stuff like that, so now that it's like...3x the size I'm not sure it would work...but dammit it's cute!!! I'm going to see if i can test on something cheaper. Thanks for the tip lovies!

MUTINY!!!! I don't mind rollover bun days either but turtles is the Queen Bunny. I'm loving my pony puffs though...I love my wash n gos but I'm starting to have a LOT of hair and it's in my face alll the time so I usually end up putting it up halfway through the day.

That's tricky lol. I keep doing the same thing. I had my hair down today to dry and then after that I put it up.

Ummm I dunno...just count it as a bun day. I had my hair down so it could dry a little bit but I haven't left the house yet lol.
