YOU are my new freaking IDOL.
You
look
GORGEOUS!!!!!

Your before hair is very similar to my current hair, and I have been dying for a cut similar to the one you got. Now I have the perfect inspiration! Thank you thank you thank you!! This weekend I might be getting my hair cut and I'm so excited to have found this post. Do you have any more pictures you'd be willing to share, so I can see it from other angles?

Again, you look BEAUTIFUL.

I love love love your pixie! It's amazing!

I'm trying to decide whether to go for a super short cut right now. It's really hard. I'm dreading the possibility of getting triangle head...but I'm so tired of my wavy thick frizzy hair.

But this gives me some hope!!
Any advice for avoiding triangle head?

-Mostly 3A, though wavy if not enough moisture (like when I lived in CO.).
-High dew point gives large ringlets, though smaller & tighter coils at neck.
-Med. texture, high density, normally porous?
-sulfate free, silicone free baby!
-searching for good stylers (but can't purchase living in China! must wait till summers to buy in US)

Thanks so much for the advice!

It's ridiculous how much I've been thinking about how to get my hair cut. I think I've flipped back and forth from leaving it long and cutting it short 5 times today alone.

I got my hair cut pixie short with bangs today.

LOOOOVE IT. I'm so glad I gathered up my guts and went for it. It suits my face so much better and makes me look mature.

I've seriously never had a good haircut before in my life, this is a first. I'm never going back to long, sweaty, frizzy hair
No offense to those with long hair, it's just not for me personally.

Only thing is I have to straighten the front/bangs. But I don't mind - Indeed, 10 minutes of styling is a blessing.

Sorry, I want to post pictures but for privacy reasons I'm sort of hesitant to.
I know, it's a dumb thing to worry about, sorry.

But here's the cut I got, I look pretty much exactly like this girl in the pic concerning face shape and size. The hair turned out exactly like this too, but I've left it wavy in the back. It's a really fun style - cute, but edgy, wild, but sophisticated. It can work whichever way you want.

Thanks for the encouragement by the way!
You were so right - screw the people that say not to do it. Do it for yourself, be confident, and the others will follow suit.
I've found that even those that told me it would be disastrous are now complimenting me so much.

@ wavie and anneleisa

Both very cute!!!
<3 Our love is like the wind; I can't see it. But I can feel it. <3

Short hair is the best proof you'll ever have to show people just how confident in yourself you are though. i've been getting so many people say "oh my god you look amazing, but i could never do that"
it's all about you, and it reminds people that. you don't need to hide behind hair for beauty.

Wavie - love that cut too & like you I put this off for ages when I know short hair suits me better but was scared to let go of my tresses!

Although I don't think it's short enough to qualify as a pixie (sorry!), I think it looks great, and you are very pretty.

I did the same thing a few years ago, and every time a guy said to me 'women should have long hair, you should grow yours out' I ended up cutting shorter and shorter. I lovedy pixie cut. You're gonna love how easy it is to take care of!

Mine was so short is was really a wash and go style.
