Default 3c haircut is this possible?

Hi I'm new to the forum and I have a question. I have 3c curly hair. The hair around my hairline is a bit courser then the rest and my hair naturally has a lot of volume. I have to manipulate and put a lot of product in it to get it to lay down on top for the most part. Most of my volume is around the roots the hair towards the ends lays down more.

I don't really see many people with 3c hair with styled haircuts and hairstyles most seem to just let it do what it does. But, I am growing my hair out and want some type of shape or cut to it so that I am comfortable with how it looks while it grows.

Do you think this type of cut and style is possible on my 3c hair? Her curls are bigger I know but, I'm wondering if this could work on 3c kinky curly medium thickness hair. I've also posted a picture of my hair below. The cut I want is the picture of the woman in the red jacket. My picture is in the pink top. In this picture my hair was air dried and has a lot of product in it still oh so slightly damp. If you have pictures of examples of hair similar to mine working shaped hairstyles and haircuts that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Signed frustrated with my hair.

Take that picture to a stylist.. I'm sure they can do that cut for you.

Definitely do-able. In fact, I love that hair cut so much. I'm saving that picture. <3

Isn't that cut cute? I just don't want to try it and have it end up looking a mess.
