How do you tame 2nd day hair frizz?

I am still trying to get good looking 2nd day hair, but its always so much more frizzy. My scalp is still very clean (and stays clean for about 3 to 4 days) so I don't need to shower every day, but my hair needs help. I sleep with my hair up in a ponytail to reserve the curls which seems to help a little, but my curls still look more limp and frizzy. What do you do to tame the 2nd and 3rd day frizz?

I tried Ouidad Botanical Boost on my 2nd day hair and it worked really good. Just spray it in and then shake your head around upside down. It worked really good on my mom and she has like 3b hair. HTH

I have the same problem with not liking day2 curls. Actually they are no longer curls but a flat wavey poof even if i put it in a high ponytail.

I use Everpure Smooth 'n Sleek hair smoother. It's in a small round bottle with a pump. It's a great help with second day frizz. Just scrunch it in.
Cowash: Suave Aloe and Water Lily
Conditioner and Leave-in: GFTN
LA Looks Sport Gel
Coconut oil Or Olive oil at night
I just do braids and buns on second day hair. Nothing will revive my curls back from wavy fuzz once they have been combed out dry but water. If I have something I want to look nicer for I'll just re-wet my hair with a little bit of a lightweight conditioner - so not quite a strict second day anymore.
I mist my hair with water to reactivate the ton of products I use. Then use KBB nectar all over paying special attention to the ends and places where the spider webs form. I get 2nd and 3rd day hair that looks decent most of the time.

I am having somewhat of the same problem. My day 1 curls are always hard and crunchy because i havent found any products that i can use that my hair doesnt get frizzy unless it ends up crunchy. My 2nd day curls are still somewhat curly but they are crazy and frizzy and the only way i can wear them is pulled back 1/2 in a clip. I have been trying forever to figure out how to pull my curls out for a few days and havent had any luck
I haven't had much luck with this either. Once in a blue moon I get good 2nd day hair, but I can't figure out how to make it consistent.

Even if I wake up with decent 2nd day, in an hour or so it's poof city. Maybe I'll try some of the suggestions in this thread - hope we get more.
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift

Since having my two kids I find my hair is much less curly and i don't feel I have a frizz problem anymore since not colouring my hair... I just have a poofyness wavey problem on day 2. On day 2 once I apply some kind of watery spritz to my hair it goes frizzy so I either just accept the beachy waves messy look, complete soak my hair and start over again, or Ill just flat iron and forget about my hair for a few more days.

Anyways I'm still experimenting ladies, I'll let you know what I come up with. I must confess though I do enjoy my hair straightened and curly. I have dual hair personalities So it will probably take a long time to come up with a solution.

I use the deva curl products, so for 2nd day (and 3rd day) hair I mix a 50/50 mixture of the One Condition and water and spritz and scrunch in to my hair. It reactivates the products from the first day, and rejuvenates my curls. I also sleep on a satin pillow case. I find that really helps keep my curls together as I sleep.
I find braiding my hair at night helps....I'm also more comfortable that way....don't like the feeling of my long, coarse hair swirling around.
I wash my hair twice a week. For day two or three if it has frizzy places I use the curling iron....and I pretty much always wear my hear with the sides up.
Wow!!! OMG complete hair envy!!! your hair is soooo gorgeous! :-O
