Default finger coils on 3b hair?

Was looking for a new hairstyle and came across finger coils. All the videos/tutorials about finger coils I've seen were done on hair with more curl(3c and higher).

Anyway, to my question. Can 3b hair be finger coiled? Also, if you have tried it on 3b hair how did it turn out?

That looks interesting. It's rather like Jonathan Torch's "skip curl" method, but without the skipping. I'd like to try it. With fibromyalgia, I'm not sure I'd make it through all my hair, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

My hair ranges from 3A to 3C, and I think the 3B and 3C areas would do that, but don't know about the 3A ones. I'd definitely need to use gel.

My question is how well that works on longer hair. My hair is about APL when wet.

On long hair it looks good, but kinda rope-like, and behaves like dreds. I think my avatar is of finger curls, but I forget.

It works on long hair but depending on how large the sections you coil while wet are, it can look very rope-like when dry. Bigger sections while wet then split when dry look very nice. I do it often.
