I just started doing twist outs to my hair and I love it. This weekend I plan on doing a deep treatment with mayo,egg,avocado, and olive oil and possible using backing soda or ACV to clarify?Should I still shampoo and condition before the treatment? Are the deep treatment ingredients ok for 3c hair ?Both the shampoo and conditioner are sulfate free, Do I still need to clarify?? Thanks for your help!!!

Idk 100 percent but I THINK that the acv mixed with distilled water would be fine on its own, me personally, what I would do and have done, is used a sulfate free shampoo just a little on my scalp really rinsed then poured my acv water mix over my head. You dont want overly strip your hair though so, maybe for you first time do one or the other. shampoo or acv? have you googled it a bit? maybe on a blog or youtube channel you can google acv rinse and see if they say anything about using a shampoo prior to it hth

Thanks for the input!! I actually got the routine from naptural 85's channel on YouTube. I'll probably end up using little ACV
