Default Castile Soap as shampoo

Hey curlies!

I am thinking of try castile soap as a shampoo. Does it remove cones? I still wanna use my suave almond and shea butter conditioner.

Has anyone used castile soap as a shampoo? If so, what what your results?

Thanks

I have and I would dilute it because its very concentrated otherwise it could be drying . My hair was clean but I don't know if it specifically removes cones.

I tried it years ago. It's very concentrated so dilute it for sure. My hair felt stripped and a bit tangled, which I was surprised because it contains so many oils. Not so sure if it removes cones though.

Not sure if'll remove cones. You'll have to try it and see. The soap tends to raise the cuticle increasing tangles. Use a ACV rinse after you shampoo to help the cuticle close.

recently, I started adding it to my co-wash conditioner and I love it, its like a creamy moisturizing shampoo.

I tried to use it diluted, as a natural poo last year, but no bueno! soo its been sitting in my stash, until now
