Default What do you think about Suave?

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Suave Professionals hair care. I've never used Suave shampoo or conditioner and was wondering which is the best for curly hair type 3b. I think I read something awhile back that girls with curly hair were getting into Suave but I do not remember which particular ones they use.

So how do you like Suave and which one do you use?

I have never used suave until I went natural. I like the suave w/ shea butter & almond oil. I got the poo once & now I only use the conditioner. The reason I stopppd using the poo is bc I wanted to use a sulfate free product. A very large bottle is less than $3. It's more than worth it. Hope this helps you.....

Suave Professionals use sulfates and silicones.

Ive tried the shampoo and conditioner set of suave almond and shea butter. It smells really good cleans well and is good for light moisture but I have thick coarser hair so usually need deeper conditioner, but I still use it.

So what are you using to remove the silicones in the conditioner?

I don't like anything from Suave personally. Their Naturals line are too thick to cowash with, but not moisturizing enough for me. And the professionals line did nothing for me.

I've been using the Suave naturals coconut conditioner as a co-wash for about three weeks now...I usually follow up with a more substantial conditioner as a leave-in.
But - now I'm finding that my hair is more moisturized in general - so I tried the Suave as a leave-in (went pretty easy with it b/c the smell is pretty strong) - and it's doing ok.

I think what's best is whatever your hair falls in love with.
Sadly - that's just trial and error I think.
I just bought a bottle of Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose condish to try....I'm keeping my fingers crossed it does something wonderful to my hair!

I've never used the Professionals line. I've been using the Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut conditioner for many years. My hair loves it (and also some of the VO5 conditioners). It's great for shaving my legs too!
