Is it possible for curl type to be misjudged? I was messing around in the shower(no, not like that, pervs) but instead of the usual sorta hand combing everything backwards and getting 3b-ish curls, i sort of smoothed everything down and got 2b-2c ish curls, i didnt let it dry or anything but i was wondering if a dramatic change like that is even possible?

When I was like 12 my curls seriously could have been 3a...almost 3b. But now (3 years later) they're 2c. I've heard of other peoples hair types changing too.
