Dancers/exercise junkies- I need tips/recs!!

I need products to slick my hair (and edges!!!) back into a ballerina bun for dance. My hair does good with butters, oils and heavy products so that is not an issue. Fragrance is good too since I can get sweaty, lol. So here is a list of products I need, but there are so many out there and I'm not sure which ones to get!

Some type of moisturizer
Butter/cream
Strong hold gel
Refresher for when I have to re-bun
Low poo (to get all that product out)
DT for after the low poo

Also I'm CG but I'm not super strict. The a-cone is ok and my hair doesn't mind mineral oil or petrolatum. Sulfates are off limits though, and the low poo should be rather gentle because my hair hates suds, plus I dance A LOT. Thanks!!

Hmmm okay let's see if I can help! Lol I'm not a dancer but I do run track sooo I have to slick my hair back alot and I swear a lot so I have to make sure the edges are down! Heres what I use usually:
Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie mixed with Eco styler gel is a LIFE SAVER! It's lays my edges down with no crunch, and provides great hold! For a refresher, I just use a spray bottle with water and conditioner (herbal essences totally twisted) mixed together... For a deep conditioner I use Argan oil restorative masque.. Love this stuff! And sometimes I mix in extra virgin olive oil for my deep condition! Hope this helps!!

I use Cantu's leave in (which is pretty thick and heavy) with some gel (usually a strong hold one) mixed together to smooth my edges for a bun, note it's pretty heavy but my hair likes it that way. I've learned the damper your hair, the better it all holds together through your workout/routine . Goody makes some spiral bobby pins that are great for holding in ballerina buns. As far as gels go I use Ecostyler of Garnier Fruitis Curl Scrunch. Sally's has a brand called ion which makes a swimmer's shampoo that is sulfate free, which I love to use to get everything out. Every once in awhile I use a clarifyer to get everything out. Good luck!
I run every morning with my German Sheppard so they are non-stop doggies. LOL I just keep my hair in twists using Eco Custard and wrap a rayon scarf around my head. I used to do ponytails but they hurt my edges too much but then again maybe I was brushing and pulling too tightly. I dunno.

When i want my edges to lay down i just use one of my moisturizers(i use kinky-curly, bee mine butter, komaza hair pudding) with some oil or butter or just one of the thing, and then take a satin scarf around for ca. 10 minutes, to make it stay down for the rest of the day.
