My failed attempt at a twist out. My hair wasn't dry so it frizzed. Gonna try again...

How many months post relaxer is your hair? It's getting long! We have very similar textures so I am using you as my guide to hair growth...LOL.

Lol! Thank you! sometimes I feel like its not growing fast enough but then I go back & look at old pics to realize it's growing & I should stop complaining! Lol!
On December 22nd I will officially be 2 years post relaxer!

Today is my "Curly-Versary"!!
I am officially 2 years post relaxer!!! All natural hair & loving it!!! Last pics show growth from Feb 2012 till Dec 2012!!!

You look inbetween the 2s and the 3s to me. Perhaps a 2C/3A/3B?

I experiment with a lot of things from my kitchen like:
Okra, Papaya, Rotten Avocados, Egg whites, Greek Yogurt, Mayonaise,

My Favorite Oils are:
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter

• I NEVER sleep with out my satin cap on
• I DO NOT use a diffuser unless I wanna look like an electrocuted poodle
• I only wash my hair with shampoo twice a month
• I LOVE bantu knotting as a protective style!

Finally! A good Twistout!! #Finally a great Twistout!! I did my twist on wet hair using conditioner & twist & lock gel. Once I finished my twist I wrapped them around my head. I wrapped them as if wrapping my hair using bobby pins to hold them in place. I then tied my hair with a satan scarf & let them AIR DRY!! Once they were completely dry I separated my twist with coconut oil on my fingertips. I believe that wrapping the twist & allowing them air dry completely stretched the length, kept them from shrinking/folding up, & dry without frizz!
