@allnaturalchick

Finally, someone who's hair looks so much like mine!

I just recently BC'd on New Year Eve after transitioning for a year. So, I am still feeling my way around.
Right now I wash & deep condition my hair once a week with. I've been washing with sulfate free shampoo & deep conditioning with honey, olive oil, & avacado oil mixed onto my conditioner. I have been using Aussie Moist as a leave in & Curls Creme Brulee as a leave in for my wash and go. I wear my Afro puff, bun with phony pony, & hat with the bangs out as my only 3 styles.

However, I've been considering switching & trying the curly girl method. I have experienced an itchy scalp, & I can't help but wonder if I'm using too many products on my hair. I have seen testimonials of the wonders for their hair.

What do you do for your hair?

I'm almost 5 months natural, I only wash once a month and co wash daily with coconut suave naturals. I use , giovanni direct leave in then Shea moisture milk, and a little jojoba oil. I keep it pretty simple .. I must say i have seen a lot of growth in the 5 months

Today is officially my 1st day doing the CG method!

I used Shea Moisture Black Soap Purification Mask after cleansing then rinsed.

I used Giovanni Direct Leave In, & Curls Creme Brulee as my leave in. Then topped it off with Curls Goddess Glaze Gel for extra hold.

Here are pics of my hair still wet:

Default My before and after :(

So this is to show ya'll my REAL 3C curlyness and how BKT/flat iron took my hair and changed it. I ain't gonna lie I like my length now. But I'm patiently waiting to grow out the straight and stringy top and sides which were most devastatingly affected by the damage.

I am officially on the CG Method train! I started 4 days ago...

I'm trying to find more styles to wear my hair in that don't take a long time, keeps it up, but also gives cute style. I decided to do some basic twist in front with my afro puff. If you guys have any tips & more pics please share!
