Default Shampoo help?

Hi!

Everyone is always talking about conditioners but I need help finding a really good moisturizing shampoo. any recommendations?

I'd like a cleansing cream if possible since my hair likes those better than the lathering ones but i'm open to anything if its good and leaves my hair soft.
I've used the deva no poo which i love how it leaves my hair..but i cannot stand the smell..it smells like ammonia to me so thats out. I've tried daily fix by curl junkie which is just OKAY. and ive tried random local sulfate free lathering shampoos which leave my hair clean..but dry.

I can't do the conditioner only method because mentally i just need to wash my hair and it just doesnt feel clean to me with only adding conditioner on top of conditioner and my hair doesnt react well to it either.

thank you for any help you can provide

Have you tried Shea Moisture shampoos? Their Shea Butter shampoo is really moisturizing, and it's sulfate free.

Same here, Shea moisture has been my favorite shampoo since my big chop 4 months ago.

Have you looked into terressentials at all? They are a cleansing/ detoxifying mud that leaves your hair very soft and sheeny. Also moisturizing shampoo bars (like Bobeam) might also be a good option

thanks for your replies everyone..

i decided to go to target and try the shea moisture products..i looked them up online, checked the stock in store, drove to my local target..and lo and behold! they had NOTHING! i was so upset. I ended up getting some kinky curly products because I was out of gel but i was disheartened. I might try another target close by.

I also just saw a review on youtube about the TERRESSENTIALS Pure Earth Hair Wash. It looks good...the only problem that i have is the intense detox period which seems to be take a lot of time and energy but I'm also thinking about trying it anyway. I'm very intrigued with the idea of using mud to wash my hair.

I would only suggest the detox if your hair is "gunky". Since I don't use silicones I didn't do the detox and it worked fine for me.

then i definitely think i'm going to try it. I don't use silicones..i try to stay away from silicone and sulfates and parabens and all that crap...although they occasionally slip in there lol. thanks!!

If you liked DC No Poo (aside from the smell),you might want to try Curl Junkie Daily Fix. I ordered some last month and don't think I could ever go back to No Poo.
