Nah, her last relaxer was in May 2011 and she did the BC almost 2 months ago. She hasn't used any heat or chemicals on her natural hair. The wavy pieces in the pics are due to her good ancestry.

Oh! Well then! That Creole ancestry always explains it all, doesn't it? **Shuffles off**

Nah. I have some French ancestors. That doesn't make my hair look a hot ratchet mess.

This thread is hilarious! @Keeny I was dying laughing @ your comment about your ancestors lol!
To the OP, who I'm sure is lurking, there's nooo way that you bc'd in november and grew back your hair that fast, I truly don't believe that. Also if you stopped getting relaxers in May 2011 your ends are still relaxed unless you BC'd. Your post were confusing and then you became offensive, ppl were just trying to help you our. You said the you know your hair type now, I'm curious to know what that is? Maybe 3abc4a!? I hope you have good luck with whatever you hair does/is! By the way you must have some kind of super growth hair gland/hormone to get 2 inches evry mnth! Lol GTFOHWTBS!

Someone needs to 'fess up! No way this was real! Who was it? Who was bored and did a little creating?? Hmmmm...?
And yet another one putting us Brits to shame with the nonsense! I am too used to my Ghanaian cousins being very friendly to accept this hostility!
I'm just gonna blame the French for this one...

I never heard anything about 'good hair' and I don't even think I had heard or understood the phrase before I started coming on the internet and being more exposed during my mid-late teens. I suppose different people have very different experiences here. I would have said the 'good hair' thing is not a thing here too. The rest though? Nah!

I agree, I think its definitely different experiences for different people. All my life I've heard how 'good' my hair is. When I was younger I took it as a compliment but as I've gotten older its become quite irritating.
Just a month ago in the lifts at Tesco a man said to my mum and I 'you both have good hair don't you?!' with a huge grin on his face, thinking he was giving us a compliment. I frowned (ready to ask him what good hair is!) and my mum pinched me and told me to 'take the compliment'.
Maybe communities outside London don't come across this (a. Smaller black community), maybe I get it cos people use it to start conversation about my ethnic origin, maybe it's just a personal experience. I don't know. I just thought the OP was trying to claim she had this 'good' hair that her ancestors left her when in fact, no one cares.
