Red face am i in the right place?

I did a Mini Chop about 2 months ago. Not sure if I'm 3c or 4a.

Did anyone else read the Essence special on hair? Also not sure if I have medium or coarse curls/coils.

I am experimenting with different products. First, I tried Shea Moisture, which was good but just want to see what else is around. I'm trying Miss Jessie's now, which I've gotten compliments on but it's a bit heavy for me. Thinking if I'm 3c, Kinky Curly makes sense next. Any recs??

Thanks!

Ur hair is gorgeous. U look 3c to me. It would be helpful to learn ur hair's porosity and density to know what products may work best for ur hair. But many curlies love curl junkie products. I have yet to find a staple product myself. Fellow curlies can u chime in on product recs?

You look 3c/4a

But can't really offer you products based on curl size. Like Mimi said you need to figure out density, porosity and hair texture before anyone can tell you what may work for your hair. There are a lot of articles on NC about these topics so look around and if you still need help on the topic come back and I'm sure there would be lots of folks willing to help.

You can also post questions in the 4a thread if you feel stumped since that gets a lot more traffic. Good luck!
