De-frizzing without losing curl

What is the best way to do this? I find that a lot of things that tame frizz also weigh down my hair and remove curl. My hair never really was frizzy, but this humid warm weather lately has made an impact. I've even tried products for straightening like Organix Keratin but they really don't do a thing. They actually made my hair frizzier I think. What can I use? I don't do CG and don't want to. I've heard a lot about it on the LongHairCommunity site but I don't want to reduce my shampooing or change products there, just styling products.
I'm having the same issue. With the crown of my hair.
I've noticed if I add a little more leave-in to those problem areas it won't frizz as much. Still Crown is my main issue.
I have accepted frizz as a part of my hair. However, I still try to reduce it when I can.

I find sealing (with oil) to be very beneficial. I can't do it every day as it weighs my hair down too much but I do it after deep conditioning my hair on Sunday and once during the week (Wednesday).

Cold water rinsing is also beneficial, as well as using a microfibre towel or old t-shirt for drying instead of a regular towel.

When I add product to my hair, I try to go "with the grain" and smooth out my hair. I don't go "against the grain" and try to rough up my cuticles.
Hair type: Mostly 3C, medium porosity to high porosity depending on the day, dense, fluffy, dry, tangly!

The last few weeks the frizz in my hair has been crazy too. I tried a DT without protein (CJ Curl Rehab) and nothing. Then I tried a protein treatment (CJ Repair Me!), still nothing. Last night I did an oil treatment. Just some safflower seed oil rub on my scalp and throughout the length of my hair with a plastic for about 2 hours then a low poo with SM Moisture Retention and today… GREAT HAIR!! Ok it’s only been ½ day but still good.

For me, to get rid of my fizz I need to deep condition my hair at least twice a week. I use olive oil, or a leave in conditioner and keep it in my hair overnight. I have done this for about 3 weeks and now I have almost NO frizz!!! I found that Shea butter mixed with some gel is a great hair styling product that gives hold, and fights frizz, but is not drying and does not flake. Also, I know you said you don't want to go CG, but that is what is going to make your hair healthier and healthy hair = shiny, non frizzy, manageable hair.
