Beauty
what products can you rec for fine easily weighed down
3A type?Thanks in advance :^)
Lots of Fine easily weighed down 3A curls
PJ currently loving Devacare one c, CEHT,& Durahold but still searching for HGs
Finally grew out my bad layers!!!
My hair is fine and loves protien. GVP k-pack works well as a RO or PT (I add some Neutral Protien Filler to my k-pack in a bowl and then apply it to my hair for an extra protien boost). I really like GVP Conditioning Balm, too. Cure Care conditioner is very cheap and comes in a big bottle (and a gallon jug). It's very light and can be used as a co wash, RO, or LI. I'm really liking the Biotera gel and curl creme combo (this can sometimes be a hit or miss for people).

I'm not sure if you are CG...but here is a list of things I see a lot of people use. I'm also about to repeat items listed above.

Conditioners with protien:
Cure Care
Salon Care Apples and Pears
Ion Effective Care (I think this is the right one.)
GVP k-pack
GVP Conditioning Balm
As I Am Leave In
Biotera Leave In

Stylers:
Biotera Firm Hold Gelee
Biotera Curl Creme
Beyond the Zone Noodle Head Curl Mousse
Eco Styler (I really like the clear one and use it on really wet hair)
Mixed Silk curl gel
As I Am Jelly

I think the majority of the Salon Care brand gels are CG and so are the Eco Stylers. Neutral Protien Filler can also be found at Sallys. Ummm...that's all I can think of at the top of my head.
CG as of Feb. 2012
combination hair.
2c on top - low elasticity
3a&b scattered underneath - normal elasticity.
fine texture. thin density. A lot of it.
porosity: normal to high.
loves protein and moisture.
BSACV as needed.

products may vary. i'm a PJ.
loving Curl Junkie, Curly Kinks, and AS I Am.
I will check these out! Is there only one kind of cure care condish?

how is the cure care vs ion effective care? I haven't used either, but I'm looking for a new conditioner to replace my GVPCB with something that has protein
~~Kirsten~~
2b,n,ii, high porosity

Likes: CJ CCCC, CJ Pattern Pusha CJ Rehab, DevaCare No-Poo, DevaCare One C, DevaCare ArcAngel, Shea Moisture Moisture Retention Shampoo, Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner, SN Tropical Coconut, Ion Effective Care, GVPCB, FSG, IAGirl's FSG Curl Cream, ACV, IAGirl's PT, Sweet Almond Oil, EVCO, EVOO, Shea Butter, Plopping, Clipping, Diffusing, Smasters
If you're looking for RO conditioner then I would go with ION Effective Care. Cure Care is great as a LI and I've heard some people like it as a co-wash also, but I would consider it too light to use as a RO.
