So CG's I know there are those of you out there that still do chemical color treatment or highlights.

Right now my hair has very diffuse/natural looking high lights, so I was considering low lights or something else that would camouflage my darker roots.

So what do I need to do to minimize the damage if possible, or more important what do I need to do when I get home to get back to CG?

I have heard of some people bringing their own no poo and conditioner with them for the stylist to use.
