Default Buns/twisted styles and taking care of ends

Can anyone give me any tips on how to take care of the ends of my hair when wearing it up in a bun? I'm wearing it in twin buns everyday to grow out a lopsided cut (*le sigh*), and I'm worried that the constant twisting is going to give me split ends and such :/

twisting is really good for hair if you do it right. it keeps the ends tucked in and cant snap as easy. lots of people swear by twisting and buns as hair growth aid. im trying to do that as much as i can, but i feel like it takes too long to do my hair then.

I do two flat twists and cross the ends in the back it's quick easy and last for days
