Default Hair gets extremely dry after the first day??!

Okay, so lets say I'm able to co-wash/wash my hair on day one. It's moisturized and looks healthy. The next day it's extremely dry and brittle! I don't know why?! It's forced me to cowash everyday, to keep it moisturized. What can I do and are others experiencing this problem?!

There could be a number of things. When I first started CG my hair was so dry it took a few months before the moisture in my hair started to even out. I had to cowash and deep condition all the time. Another thing you need to do is try and find out your hair properties. The texture, porosity, density are important in determining the right products to use. This site Live Curly Live Free - Home is an excellent resource. It could also be that you are not using the right products for your hair. HTH.

I need help with that too. I found out my texture, medium hair, Normal porosity, and Normal elasticity, but my hair is still dry after 1 week of CG!!! I had to cowash daily, but now I wash once a week and moisturize with conditioner daily but still experiencing dryness!! What am I doing wrong? Thanks

do you girls seal your hair after you wash? i mix condish and oil in the palm of my hand and use it to seal the water in the ends of my hair. also sleeping on a silk satin pillow case does help as well. then you dont loose the moisture over night.
