Amazing new regimin

Yes I forgot about argan! That one actually worked pretty well for me. But it felt more like a serum, I got it from sallys isn't that full of silicones? And yes I use eco styler krystal and tried mixing it with that and it didn't work and I tried mixing it with my leave in which is just a suave conditioner and it didn't work, and if I use it on my ends it weighs the curl down and makes it look more wavy than the spiral it was before. :/ Idk, my hair has been acting really funny and there's tons of fly aways and im guessing its breakage and no matter how many times I go to trim my ends they always look frayed. I was thinking maybe it was because i'm using such cheap products..? I rinse out GVPCB and put in my vo5 moisturizing conditioner then apply a mixture of eco styler krystal and honey and that's it. It curls great but tbe frizz and breakage it looks like is not so attractive...sorry to ramble and go off topic but I was really concerned about this and decided to post here because my phone takes a long time to change from forum to forum. If anybody can help, please do...or just PM me so this thread can remain on topic. Sorry and thanks in advance!

as for the breakage do you seal your ends at all? maybe the argan oil, (even if it has cones in it) will be better to seal with. all you need to do is get same oil on your hands and just apply it to your ends. this really helps me.
i dont think it has anything to do with using cheap products, only if they have cheap things in them.
i just use conditioner for my go to syle, and cause im out, (oooh know!!) ive been just using oils. though i do prefer to mix it with the condish. so for the last few days ive just been bunning my hair and hoping that no one will notice.

p.s you need to delete your pm box, it said that yours is fall.

My routine has always been as simple as possible, ie leave in and gel. About a month ago, I added grape seed oil which I love better than coconut oil or olive oil. It's much lighter and less greasey.
I totally agree!! I get the best results just leaving in conditioner and then using shealoe butter (shea butter and aloe gel).

Don't know why I ever change up. Lol.

The best leave-in for wash-n-gos for me has been a modified kimmytube leave-in

co-wash, t-shirt dry, then on damp hair I apply

apply less than Quarter size amount of conditioner to each side of my hair

top it with a nickel size amount of EVOO

I spritz with Aloe Vera juice( or Rosewater): I have porous hair this helps close the hair shaft and keep in the moisture.

I notice most of the posters in this thread are 3c. Do you think it would work for 3a hair (I know, I just have to try it). But my concern is that my curls will just fluff into a big mass unless I use gel.

My hair is 3a, with a little 3b. I wish it were curlier and would make better ringlets.

Thoughts?

I love coconut oil. It's the best thing that ever happened to my hair.

It used to be shea butter but as of late it has been making my hair stringy and tangled so I stopped using it.

Coconut oil does WONDERS!!!
coconut oil much be a 3c fav! i also find i get the best results using coconut oil, although i do use alot of other oils, so there all tried and tested. i dont seem to be able to over do the coconut oil either, though its happened with many different oils, never with coconut.

Interesting thread. I was just going over my products with my sissy. I've narrowed it down to the products in my siggy but I know I can narrow it down even more. Or at least I'll try! LOL
