Amazing new regimin
So I read all these reviews on what products to use ,what not to use, homemade ideas, and a that stuff. I have always been a product junkie when relaxed hair or natural, but as of Friday I'm a changed person !!!!! I could never understand why I could get my curls to be full yet well defined until Friday ..... So I'm going to share my new secret ..... Co wash , leave in conditioner, coconut oi

Sorry... Didn't finish .... Oil, that's its !!!! No other products and it gave me a full, well defined shiny look. I did however put this products in on soaking wet hair then put my hair up in a t shirt to take away some of the wetness but result where amazing ... And I got second day hair.

It is so funny that I am reading this. I just discovered this trick yesterday as well. I did my regular thing but decided to leave in much less conditioner and trade the gel for safflower oil. I had the best hair day: big, shiny, well defined curls and my second day hair looks even better.
Who knew less really was more

its so simple yet so brilliant! ive been doing this for months, mixing my condish and oil in the palm of my hand and just throwing that throw my hair. its been really great. ive just started using rose water just to refresh so ill have to see how that goes....
but yes i agree less is more and a simple routine hey.... less can go wrong right?

I bet it would work with olive oil, I don't see why not. You should try it!

I used conditioner and oil only for most of winter and spring but weather changes nipped that for now. with summer humidity i had to go to gels, pomades or curl cremes. If not my hair frizzes out.

I'd love to try this....but my hair doesn't seem to work well with any oils. It makes it greasy, frizzy and feel really odd and it won't behave if I use any oil. I've tried jojoba, olive, vatika oil, grapeseed, coconut...none work for sealing or putting in my hair. Vatika and coconut work for deep conditioning but that's it. Any suggestions on other oils?

argan oil? that is amazing, if really does soak onto your hair shaft. have you tried mixing the oils with somthing else? for example a gel? i use it to seal and mix it with my condish as a sealer. have you tried just using it on your ends? maybe you have more luck as a DT cause you wash it out.

Yes I forgot about argan! That one actually worked pretty well for me. But it felt more like a serum, I got it from sallys isn't that full of silicones? And yes I use eco styler krystal and tried mixing it with that and it didn't work and I tried mixing it with my leave in which is just a suave conditioner and it didn't work, and if I use it on my ends it weighs the curl down and makes it look more wavy than the spiral it was before. :/ Idk, my hair has been acting really funny and there's tons of fly aways and im guessing its breakage and no matter how many times I go to trim my ends they always look frayed. I was thinking maybe it was because i'm using such cheap products..? I rinse out GVPCB and put in my vo5 moisturizing conditioner then apply a mixture of eco styler krystal and honey and that's it. It curls great but tbe frizz and breakage it looks like is not so attractive...sorry to ramble and go off topic but I was really concerned about this and decided to post here because my phone takes a long time to change from forum to forum. If anybody can help, please do...or just PM me so this thread can remain on topic. Sorry and thanks in advance!

Gonna try this next time. Been using DevaOne condish as a leave-in and CDs Margarites Magic and that's been working pretty good, but I'd love to see if coconut oil works just as well (its much cheaper).

i use pure again oil, so i know that there are no badies in there, i also use it on my face pretty much head to toe. i would check it for cones first.
as for the breakage do you seal your ends at all? maybe the argan oil, (even if it has cones in it) will be better to seal with. all you need to do is get same oil on your hands and just apply it to your ends. this really helps me.
i dont think it has anything to do with using cheap products, only if they have cheap things in them.
i just use conditioner for my go to syle, and cause im out, (oooh know!!) ive been just using oils. though i do prefer to mix it with the condish. so for the last few days ive just been bunning my hair and hoping that no one will notice.
p.s you need to delete your pm box, it said that yours is fall.

Honey gives me frizz if I use it as a styler :/ but I really like avacodo oil for my ends over evoo and my hair also liked jojoba as long ad I don't use too much of these it really helps with shine and softness.

Well I just stuck gold again .... I mix honey and evoo in my conditioner and it makes my hair so soft and moisturized. On Sundays ill apply this mixture them add extra honey directly to my hair and let it sit for about 30 min, absolutely live the results. When I rinse it out I only apply Giovanni leave in and olive oil . For extra defined curls I was a little Shea Moistur curl smoothie.
