Flexi-8 hair clips?
I am considering purchasing a Flexi-8 clip, but are they durable? Do they work with curly hair? And most importantly, are they worth the price?

I have 2 flexi-8's. I love one of them and wear it all of the time and the other I never wear. The one with all metal beads lays nicer in my hair. I use it for 1/2 ups either on top or in the back of my hair. For some reason the black and white one doesn't seem to work as well. I don't know if it's because of the the large curved S in the middle or the type or size of the beads or another reason. But I really do love the metal one.
I just pulled the black and white one out to take a photo and I'm thinking I might give it another try now that my hair is a little longer.
I did have to return one because I chose the wrong size and they didn't give me any problems so you could always return it if you don't like it. Also, I don't remember what it is, but I had found a 10 percent discount code online somewhere. Maybe you can search for one.
Here are a few pics: The 2 flexi-8's, a rear view of 1/2 up and a front view with flexi-8 on top. My hair looks kind of wavy in the second picture but it's actually more of a 3a-b. I guess because I slept on it and re-wet it, it looks wavier. The last is my hair without clip.

They are totally worth the money for me!!!
Posted on another thread:
I love mine!! I have sizes mini through large and use them all for different styles. I only need an X-large now to complete my set. I use a mini to hold back a small portion of hair back out of my face, x-small for less than a half up, small for half ups, medium for ponytail, large for French twist and a variety of styles. There's usually a code on the flexi site for 10% off or buy four get one free...code blue 32088 I believe.

I have a bunch of Flexi-8 clips. I haven't worn them in about a year because I was going through my shorter/layered phase, but now I want my hair longer (back to APL, although I never quite got there).
I used the XS for half-ups and the smalls for either ponytails or to hold an updo/bun/twist. I don't have a lot of hair so the small was fine for me for this. When I was a dreamer that my hair would ever look full/healthy at BSL, I bought a very pretty Flexi-8 in a large for what I was hoping would be a nice thick bun when I got to that length. Haven't come close to that length, but I like the flexi too much to part with it although it was worn maybe 2x (and slipped around a lot on me since I didn't have enough hair to fill the pin area).

What style is the large Flexi? There was one that I was looking for, but it wasn't in stock.

Okay...here is my review! It's late, I know! But so far, I am LOVING it! It was a little stiff the first couple times I used it, but then it got very flexible, (which kind of freaked me out! Lol!) then I realized that's why it's called a "Flexi"-8! All-in-all, I would buy many more of these clips!

Do you use the medium to do one ponytail?

I wish! Unfortunately, I under-estimated the size of the clip. I simply cannot fit all of my hair into it! But on the bright side, I can still do half-ups. I never liked ponytails anyway; they just stretched out my curls!

THANK YOU for this thread! I am ordering with the buy 4 get 1 free deal - I am thinking about an XS, S, two mediums and a large. That should have me covered and then I can always return or exchange if the sizing is wrong.

You're welcome! Yes, that is a pretty good deal, and the return policy rocks!!! I'm getting another Flexi-8 clip, but I'm buying it from the Lillarose website this time, to compare! My only problem with the Lillarose website is that they don't have the buy 4 get 1 free deal, they don't have the coupon code, and they add sales tax. Other than that, the customer service and wide variety of clips are amazing!

I think I overestimated the amount of hair I have!!! I bought xtra small, small, two mediums and a large. I am considering returning the large and one of the mediums for a mini and maybe another small! The medium feels kind of slippy on my ponytail. I have yet to master any of the twisty styles (I just got them today LOL) but I think these will become a staple for me here in humid GA. An attractive option for a ponytail? Yes please!!!

I love mine and get compliments at work about them. I use a small on the ends of my braid instead of an elastic. I use a medium for my half-ups. I use a large for a peacock twist and when I fold my braid under. I use an x-large for other buns and up-do's. I have plans to buy more for Christmas.
