Curl pattern?
Hi everyone! I think I'm having a pretty good curl day today *dance* and took some pictures! Over the last few days I've been seeing some nice curls coming out in the front especially (yay!!) and I was wondering if I could get some opinions from you all regarding the curl pattern. I'm a bit undecided (I know I'm a mixture of a couple...)
I definitely have more definition in the front than the back - although today the back shaped up nicely as well. I'm pretty happy with the results!

You're either a strict 2B or a 2B/2C mixture. You're a wavy type.

lol kstan - I'm with you there ! Today I have these tight ringlets in my front underlayer, right near my ears. My hair apparently just does whatever it feels like, because yesterday my wavies were pretty loose!

I think the day to day differences are part of the fun of having wavy/curly hair. I consider myself a 3a, but depending on products, dew points, planetary alignment, I have pieces that will do 2b waves, pieces that do 3b spirals, and everything in between.

yeah, since going CG i've had a lot of spirals showing up in my underneath and back of my hair. I'm not sure what to make of its inconsistency though. And some of these spirals look like little ropes. I'm not a fan of that on me. i want nice open spirals.

I completely agree Corrina - at least I'm never bored with my hair
kstan, I always have had a straighter underneath as well - but mine's doing the same thing you mentioned - spirals and ringlets. I'm pretty happy about that because now I feel like a get a more even look and I'm not always worried about my longer layers looking weird because they are so much straighter.
Now if only I could get my top layer in the back to cooperate. That's my problem area - it got thinned out even though I asked for no thinning.
