Default De-tangling 3a hair

I've read alot of things about only brushing your hair when it's wet, so does that mean during the week, when I don't wash my hair, I can't brush my hair...?! Is it better to silghty dampen your hair and then brush it, or could that effect your hair?

Thanks

i only detangle with wet hair and conditioner. Otherwise, my hair becomes damaged.

Basically.
In the past I've sprayed my hair down with a conditioner/water mixture, detangled combed, though not really to style it. I only do that if my hair is getting gnarly but I'm too tired/don't have enough time to take a full on shower. Then it just gets braided or whatever.

I don't brush my hair at all, I only comb it. When it's tangled during the week, I wet my hair down and finger comb it. Sometimes I use Bioterra Leave In while I am detangling.

I haven't brushed my hair in years, and I've never used detangler. I use a conditioner for a no-poo routine, and then I use a wide-toothed comb when it's wet.

I think the best thing for curly hair is finger combing or using a wide tooth comb when hair is wet and covered in conditioner that has good slip.
