Stopping the shrinkage?
I am incredibly proud to say that I have grown out my hair completely from the BC, and now it's a couple of inches BSL wet. Unfortunately, the shrinkage when dry is absolutely killing me.
Currently, I follow my sealing spritz (generally diluted olive oil... shea was not working) with Umberto curl lotion.
I really don't know what I should do--- I'm about a few days away from buying some light-weight plastic clips to weigh down my hair.
Any suggestions?

I also low bun, but I have to pin the sides back instead because if I pull them into the bun they stretch too much.
Plopping also helps stretch the hair, and when my hair is completely dry I use a pick and kind of pull the hair at my nape downwards, it helps stretch it.
If I really want stretched hair naptural85's stretched twist out is my go to.

I use the metal duck clips on my ends to stretch. The plastic were too light weight for me.

Have you tried banding?
I smooth my hair in a low pony then use little scunchies down the length of my hair, and let it dry this way. It gives my WnGs more hang.
For Braid-outs
I wrap a flexi-rod around the end of each braid, it gives the end a smooth finish + weights down each braid for a more elongated look.

i must be the only one who (kinda) likes my shrinkage. i find that if i stretch my hair then my curls are gone. of cause i wouldnt mind longer hair, but i love my 3c curls n i guess i accept that i got alot of shrinkage it will be nice and long some day, but till then im enjoying how healthy it is n how much i can do with it right now. when its really long, it'll be too heavy, (i think) to put up or do cute styles with n stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions, curlies.
I'm thinking of the clips idea, but manually stretching while diffusing seems to help a bit.
@Fmasuhr: My hair is ridiculously dense, and my hair is basically all ringlets, so shrinkage = an utter style disaster because there's just so much hair.

my hair is like that as well. every day its different. it depends how i prepar my hair with what kinda results i get. my fav is after shower i use a condish and oil mixture to syle and moisturise. then i let it air dry and shake it as much as possible as it drys. this does take 3 hours though and on a day to day basics i dont have time for that. i like to wash my hair at night and put it up in a high pony tail. in the morning i take it down and its streched.
when i let it air dry and move it my hair is nice and full with tones of volume, yes also lots of shrinkage n tight curls.
