I just checked it out from my local library. If you do choose to buy it get the second edition (didn't like the first edition). The second edition also comes with an instructional DVD. Amazon is a good place to purchase from. :-)

$10.98. It is a simple method. The DVD really helps in showing you the proper way to co-wash.

Yes the book helped but not enough to actually want to buy it. Do you have a library that you could check it out? That would help you determine if you want to buy it.

I haven't used Devacare products. I prefer drugstore products. I cowash with Tresseme Naturals and use Suave Naturals Coconut for my leave in. I use Eco Styler gel for my styler. I have high porosity hair that loves protein. :-)

I'd say no. All the info in her book is online. All of it (unless there's 2% of the book I'm forgetting or something). It's good, but I wouldn't buy it.
