So, my hair is nice and curly - definitely curlier side of 3a, but it is super, SUPER soft and fine. I have practically no volume, especially considering how curly my hair is. And any product I put in - past a dab of aloe after I shower - weighs it down, and makes it all greasy and crunchy. Also, my hair frizzes a lot, but as mentioned, I can't figure out how to use product.
Please tell me I'm not the only one with hair like this! Do any of you have tips for how to deal with it? I mean, I think it's healthy, but I can't get it to look good at all.

I use V05, trader joe's tea tree tingle shampoo(sulphate free), GF triple nutrition(DT) and LA looks curl gel.

Have you tried just using a little leave-in? Maybe that would help with the frizz and not add too much weight.

There are also some really light oils, you could try rubbing 1 drop on your palms and smoothing it on your hair. Also good for frizz.

Also, maybe a curl cream would be better for you than a gel. I guess you could water that down if it was too thick.

I can't think of anything else...

Have you tried mousse? I've had more success with that. Can't get gels or jellies to work well for me. I like Pantene Curl Defining Mousse ok, but my favorite is Suave Captivating Curls, which is unfortunately not CG. I understand many here love Condition 3 in 1 Mousse, which is CG, but I haven't been able to find it locally yet.
