Default Damaged hair

My name is Kayla, and I just joined this website. I'm in high school. I've been straightening my hair every saturday for two years now, and it is such a pain. I want to wear my hair curly, but only my roots are curly. The rest of my hair is a little wavy. I've been researching a lot, and I know I need to stay away from heat. Can you guys please give me some tips on how I can get my hair back to its natural curls. I just ordered mixed chicks hair products, and it should arrive in 3 days.. but should I use a repairing shampoo and conditioner also? Let me knoww. I'm willing to pay whatever. I just hate going to school looking like a troll. I'm a frizzy mess. ): pleasee help!

Try to wear buns. That's a protective hairstyle that won't add further damage to your hair. Also.. Try curl activating products.. I've never had that much damage but I used to flat iron my hair once every week or two for the past 5 or 4 years. And as soon as I stopped and kept conditioning my hair my curls came back.

Deep condition your hair and keep your hands out your hair.
