Frizz in one spot??

I have been recently experiencing some frizz only on one spot of my hair!! I'm not sure why I get frizz only on the back of my hair but it seems I cannot tame it. How do I tame my frizz??

Have you tried using more product on that one spot ?

Yes it seems like no matter what I put there it gets frizzy!!

A few thoughts ran through my mind.

Do you shower at night and then sleep on your back? Perhaps it is "ruffling" your hair during the night and it isn't bouncing back in the morning.

Other thought- do you think it might have been burned by the hair dryer and just in need of a deep conditioning treatment?

There's a concurrent thread with a similar issue. Maybe some of the posts can help. http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlta...izzy-back.html

No I don't shower at night and I've done like 3 deep treatments ever since I started noticing that frizz

I've had a similar issue. Usually Deep Conditioners work for me (morrocan oil brand of deep conditioner). When that doesn't work I do a deep treatment with caster oil. I've tried blending it with other oils but Caster Oil by itself works best for me in solving the problem areas. I coat the area after I co-wash and sleep with it in my hair overnight (I cover my hair in a silk bonnet). Then I co-wash it out in the morning. It really helps.

Hi i've had the same problem. My hair tends to get frizzy in onsespot, mainly the middle of my head. And it's also really dry. I have 3B hair. I've recently done some research on sulfate free shampoo. And I'd like to give it a try. But do I still need to use conditioner? I already deep condition my hair once a week.
