Help please!!
 

I know people are always asking what their hair type is and i'm curious to know what mine is. I have learned about texture, porosity etc just can't figure out the type. This is my hair it is braided in the back and sides with a wng on top. In theses pics my hair is damp not wet with a leave in, moisturizer and pure shea butter detangled with my denman.

Just a guess I would say you're a 3b or 3c...

Looks like 3b, normal texture and probably normal to low porosity. Texture and porosity are more important than curl pattern.

Why would you think you're a 4a? 4a has much tighter curls. At that length, 4a would be the size of a coffee stirrer and much shorter than your hair even if it were the same length.

Because someone probably told her she was a 4a. Jealous people do it all the time but anyway I agree 3b/3c.

Yes they do! That's why I hate typing because its a hierarchy waiting to happen! For some reason 4 is viewed anywhere from less to "regular". If you have 3, oh so now you're superior. Well you MUST be knocked down a peg!

Don't ask me why it's like that. But sadly enough it is. Not with everyone, but with many.
