I'm mostly 3b but lots of 3a on the canopy. I love the Q-Redew. It seems expensive, but it costs less than a hair dryer. I use it in the morning to get my hair back into shape and it works like a charm. I barely have to touch my hair, and I don't have to "scrunch" it. It gets way less frizzy without having to touch it and the warm mist reactivates styles and sort of "seals" it. I am very happy with the product overall.

This product caused MASSIVE frizz in my hair, no matter how little or how much steam I used. I have tried to contact the company THREE TIMES with no response and am apparently unable to return it without their prior authorization.

The email address they provided with the product doesn't work, and the "comments" section on their website doesn't work either.

PItiful customer service for a pathetic and overpriced product. Only buy this if you are SURE your hair likes steam...if it poofs up in a steamy bathroom, it will probably do the same with this.

My gosh. Even though this works for me in the Arizona desert Winter, I would not have taken the chance on ordering if I had read their return policy first. (I admit, I just assumed the product could be returned easily if I didn't like it, period): The website gives the following information:

Return Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your Q-Redew purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase within 30 days of the date of purchase for a refund of the purchase price less any shipping, handling, restocking, or other charges.

Prior to returning the Q-Redew, you will be asked to inform Q-Redew Products the reason for your return (see Return Instructions below). Your feedback is important to us.

Per the Return Instructions below, after contacting Q-Redew Products requesting a return, you will be furnished a Return Authorization Number and a Return Form to be completed by you. Returns will not be accepted for refund by Q-Redew Products without a valid Return Authorization Number and completed Return Form.

The Q-Redew must be returned to Q-Redew Products in its original condition and packaging.

Your return must be sent via a prepaid, traceable mail or courier service. You pay for shipping. We will not accept packages COD. For your protection, you should insure your package for its full value. Please note shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Lastly, you will be charged a $10 restocking fee.

Your refund, net of restocking or other charges, will be processed upon our receipt of your unit.

To return your order, please contact Q-Redew Products by e-mail at support@qredew.com
or call 414.813.5511 to request a Return Authorization Number. You will then be e-mailed a Return Form that you will be required to complete and return with your return shipment.

Hi, it's Heidi, founder and owner of Q-Redew Products.

Glad to hear the Q-Redew is helping you in the dry desert air.

I appreciate your honest comments and thoughts regarding my return policy. Thank you for taking the time to write.

I think your points are very valid. I do realize that while the Q-Redew is a great product for many, but there may be an occasional customer who might rethink their purchase. I therefore have re-evaluated my return policy and will make the changes to allow easier returns with no restocking fee. I intend to post the changes on our website today.

So disappointed to hear the customer service complaints. I did experience a technical glitch with our "contact us" page. Unfortunantly I was not aware of messages waiting for my attention. It was thru these comments on Naturally Curly that I became aware. So thank you!

I hope I have taken care of the consumer affected by this problem to her satisfaction.

As a new small business, I do appreciate my early Q-Redew users and will continue to make adjustments as I learn from you.

Sorry for the misstep,
Heidi

Hi Heidi,

I am so glad you saw this thread and that you were able to find the glitch in the "contact us" link! When the owner of a business takes the time to reply to a post on a chat board it means a lot to customers. Often we're so used to faceless corporations we just expect to be ignored and frustrated, and it's wonderful to know that Q-Redew isn't one of those companies that ignores or sends boilerplate emails to confused customers. What a wonderful thing!

The Q-Redew is ingenious and, in all seriousness, it takes away some anxiety from my life. I used mine this morning on a "tricky curls" day, and my hair is behaving like the weather is perfect. It helps dry flyaway hair in a way that no styling product can help.

I like the Q-Redew! I caved and bought it since 2nd day hair is usually a nightmare for me.

I will have to try it in various dewpoints but on my first try, today, I was really happy with the result! Can it be my 2nd day nightmare is finally at an end !!

Stay tuned....will update.

Waterlilly716 did a review on this on YouTube. I watched the video and she said it seemed to work okay, her results varied from day to day it seems but I didn't see anything that would make me want to buy it in her demonstration.

I was finally able to return my Q-Redew...once I got a response from the company, the service vastly improved. No problems at all.

At first I thought maybe there was a slight slight chance that my results were due to user error...nope. Got my hair cut a month or so later and my stylist used it on my hair...more frizz.

Guess it's just not for me, but apparently works really well for some hair types.
