Default 3c hair moisture

I just recently did the big chop a month ago and I was wondering how can I keep moisture in my hair. It always looks dry

You may want to seal your hair with an oil after you wash/cowash your hair. Also, I've found that adding honey and olive oil to my rinse out conditioner has helped with my dry hair. You may want to cowash more often if you are doing it less than once a week, until you hair is more moisturized.

It would help us greatly if you told us your regimen first....

And then your hair properties... and so on.

Keep hair moisturized throughout the day, deep condition/hot oil treatments, seal with oil (just your ends, careful using oil can end up drying out your hair. Maybe even deep conditioning overnight will help. Also try looking up dry hair recipes online like avocado, shea butter, honey, coconut oil...You can probably whip up something that will keep your hair nice and soft. I remember I came up with something that included shea butter, conditioner, and oil a while back...I left it in for a long time and it came out so soft. I still have no idea the ratios I used, but I haven't made it for a while since.

I went CG when i did my BC 2 years ago. It helped tremendously with getting my hair moisturized and made my curls form.

I remember how my hair felt when I did my BC and how dry it felt. What saved my hair was conditioner washes and sealing with oil. In particular amla oil.

I've heard of people using honey but I was wondering if it comes out of your hair when you rinse. I was afraid of a sticky mess if I tried it.
