Default 3C dry hair! AHHH!

Hey guys I recently did the big chop one month ago and my hair is uber dry all the time. What can I use to keep it moisturized and how often should I wash and go??

Maybe try deep conditioning once a week or every 2 weeks.
A water based styler.
A leave in conditioner( I personally use Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner as my leave in)
You can also try to seal in the moisture with an oil, you just have to find the one your hair likes.
I personally do wash and goes daily, and since it is winter and freezing i make sure my hair is dry before leaving the house.
I have 3c Hair as well, and for me the Shae Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie works for me.
You really just have to find the products that work for you
Also you might want to look into the CG method.

When curly hair is short it tends to loose moisture really fast. So you may find yourself needing to moisturize it throughout the day. Moisturize whenever you think you need it.

All hair is different so I can't give you a specific product, but just aim for anything for dry hair. Moisturize throughout the day. If your hair is dry, it needs more moisture. Hot oil treatments and deep conditioning treatments can help. You can also try leaving in deep conditioner overnight (olive oil/coconut oil/etc...+conditioner for dry hair will do just as well as any deep conditioner in my opinion). Don't do this too often though; it is possible to overcondition your hair.

Macadamia natural oil hair mask or moroccan oil repair mask...those are my two faves...a cheaper alternative that I love is any of the tresemme naturals conditioners...i add coconut oil to them and use them as a deep conditioner hope this helps!

I agree. My hair was parched prior to the CG Method. Here is a pic so you can see what I mean. The pic on the left is my big chop and my hair was super dry. The pic on the right is almost seven months doing the CG Method.
