Have you tried flax seed gel? It works for my 3c hair. It gives me light hold with no crunch an defined curls that lasts for days

Haha I saw this thread and thought I would mention FSG and low and behold seems like others love it too. I have thought of trying other gels but why?! I know what the ingredients are, its inexpensive and works great with my hair!

Agree!!! But the con is tha you have to refrigerate it. So its ok to have a shop-gel as well which you can carry to the gym, travel etc. I have ordered kccc gel and beautiful curls gel from iherb.com I am so excited about the gels. Will update you when i have tried it.

I wish I could use FSG as my only gel, maybe I'll try it again since it was the middle of humid summer last time.

My hair loves Eco Styler gel (the one in the pink jar). No dry or crunch hair but gives great definition and hold.

I buy mine off of Amazon: Eco Styler for Curly and Wavy hair. I usually wet or spritz my hair, add a leave-in with a touch of castor oil and then apply the Eco Styler.

I swear by kiss my face upper management gel. Its a nice hold great definition minimal shrinkage and a wash and go lasts like 3-4 days. Its all natural too and doesnt have the tacky feeling other natural gels have. It dries very clean. I love that stuff.

I just found herbal essence scrunching gel and it works really great too but I like kiss my face better for wash and goes.
