Hey all! I'm trying to figure out if I'm a 2c or a 3a before I start doing CG! This is my hair with a little spray gel and air dried! Thanks

My hair looks just like yours. Mine is kind of both. In the back my hair is looser, in the front curlier. A good signal that you are 2c is if the underlayer of your hair is straight-ish. Either way, the routine isn't too different. I would say to not be too caught up in generalizing it in a type, most hair is a couple different kinds on one head anyway. If you want to encourage your hair to be it's curliest, use a nice strong hold gel (I like Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Gel.) This will help your existing curls be more defined. Hope this helped!
