Hey Houseofcurls! Do you find that adding the KCCC after you plop rather than before plopping gives you better results? I've just started using sm smoothie followed by KCCC and afterwards plopping, but my ends sometimes lost their hold- probably because the gel gets absorbed into the t-shirt. I think I might try plopping before adding the KCCC if it seems to work well for you!
I know you didn't ask this of me, but I thought I'd offer my two cents

I have also started scrunching in some additional KCCC after I plop. I got the idea from smasters technique where she adds more KCCC to damp hair part way through diffusing. I don't diffuse very often, but I figured the same principle would apply even when air drying. I've found that this helps keep my ends from drying out/frizzing/losing definition and gives me a little more hold and shine. Love it.
Thanks for your input JsuzKelley, I appreciate it! I'm glad it works for you! I'll have to try it now

Sundays:
I use Bentonite clay mud wash (homemade). Next I DC with either SheaMoisture Shea Butter masque or Mixed Chicks and oil my scalp with my castor oil/evoo mix with heat for 20 minutes. Then I rinse all this out. Towel dry with microfiber towel and spray my hair with lavender water, apply generous amount of KCKT, brush through with my den man, apply FSG, seal with Shea butter. I proceed to put about 12 twists.

Wednesdays:
I co-wash with SheaMoisture C&H co-wash on them roots and Giovanni SAS on the ends. After rinsing all this out I layer KCKT followed by FSG and seal with oil.

I do protective styling all the time unless for special occasions. I am also having fun with lace wigs :-)

I have mostly 3C hair, although lately I've been noticing a lot more 3B curls. It's shoulder length (unstretched) and it's just above my bra straps when stretched. I trim my hair twice a year (once in winter, once in summer).

I'm not going to mention any brands because my brand preferences are always changing because I like to experiment.

Daily:
-Co-wash with conditioner in the shower (let the conditioner sit in my hair for the remainder of my shower, rinse out before I get out)
-Let my hair dry as much as possible in a t-shirt turban (5-10 minutes)
-Styling: Lots of leave-in conditioner, a few dabs of curly cream, hair gel, sometimes seal with oil. Sometimes I want a very soft look, so I'll either use just curly cream or just leave-in conditioner.

Weekly (usually on Sundays but now it's being changed to midweek because that's more convenient for me right now):
-Shampoo (yes, I use sulfates--I prefer sulfate shampoo, actually)
-Deep condition for a minimum of 10 minutes, but preferably 20-30 minutes
-De-tangle with a wide tooth comb (might have to add more conditioner to my hair to get it slippery)
-Rinse out
-If I am going out somewhere, I will do my styling routine, but if I'm just staying at home, I'll only put in some leave-in

Basically, I do my CG method, using a Suave conditioner as my cowash, then I do my deep conditioner(Essie 3 Minute Miracle), then I plop! When it's slightly wetter than damp, I apply some leave in conditioner + argan oil for shine. I separate my hair into about 5-6 sections, separate each section into 2 sections, then twist it into a little rosette on my head and bobby pin it down. Do that to all the sections, pop on a little sleeping cap, and catch up on some well-needed beauty rest c: When I wake up, unpin everything, shake it out for some volume, style my bangs, and add some antifrizz mouse c:

This is a picture of super ultra second day hair. Mainly due to laziness, haha c:

Oh, and this can all be easily replicated for second day hair by just rewetting hair with a spray bottle (I like to use warm water +sea salt because I find that my hair loses some of it's clumping ability when I redo it for second day curls.), and repeating the process, minus all of the product c:

I've actually changed my routine from the first one I posted. Once or twice a week I will cowash my scalp with suave naturals conditioner. I can't get 2nd day hair, so I do this every morning: I wet my hair and apply conditioner to my hair (not my scalp because I'm not cowashing.) I apply a quarter sized amount and dont rinse it out. Then I scrunch my hair dry with a microfiber towel and add a shallow palmful of biotera gel

I have shoulder length 3c curls. But for the summer I've been co-washing with SM purification masque. KCKT as my leave in. Sealed with castor oil then I use as I am curl jelly with FSG on top. Then to preserve my curls I put it in a low loose pony tail and cover it with a silk scarf. I'm excited because I just recently figured out how to get 3rd day hair without adding any water!!! Hi! I am new here!
I cleanse my hair with devacurl no-poo, then once a week or every other week I use a protein treatment from joico. Then I use a deep conditioner from shea moisture. On regular days I use shea moisture conditioner or the joico moisture recovery.

I am still looking for a good leave in, but today i used the kinky curly knot today. And today i tried "curls in a bottle" which worked amazing! I am still trying out products and the curls in a bottle and miss jessies pillow soft curl have been working great (seperatley).

Then I scrunch inn a tiny bit of jojoba oil. This hairstyle can last for several days if I sleep with a silk scarf! Still trying to find something to keep my hair moisturized throughout the day

Here is todays result!
