When you feel your products are working well, what does you hair feel and look like? When you feel your products no longer work, what does your hair feel and look like?

Many of us rotate products. My hair has always satiated on product--even back in my shampoo/conditioner only days. I wet, use a rinse out every day. Seldom let myself use any product more then once in five days, it that.

When it works my hair is freeze free, smooth and really curly then when my hair gets used to the products it's just a yucky frizz ball

What you're calling products "getting use to" your hair (as described), could be from build up. Before swearing off those products, you should first try washing your hair with a clarifying shampoo, followed by a quality conditioner (could be a conditioner you're already using). Then, if the products you've been using still don't work the next time you use them, you may the situation Kathy is describing, in which your hair just seems to crave more variety. Then it would be time for further product exploration, keeping in mind your present hair properties and curl type.

Speaking for myself, I usually can go years w/out needing to switch up my routine, but everyone is different.

I use sm shampoo. Maybe I need acv rinse off

I would try washing with a clarifying shampoo, which has sulfates in it. It can get rid of any serious buildup of products you may have. An ACV rinse afterward is fine, followed by some LI conditioner.
