Products Masking Not Healing Hair?

Does anyone feel like they've finally found some products to help their hair look better but now they've used them for awhile and without the products their hair really looks the same? Does this mean the wrong products are being used? Or is part of being curly having to be product dependent? Are there actually products that improve your hair overtime? They say curly hair is forgiving to dryness and damage bc it hides the damage and dryness. Is iit possible to improve the health of your hair instead of just bathing it in water and products everyday to look presentable?

I think there is a general consensus that products with silicones hide damage but don't really help it. Protein treatments and deep treatments seem to improve my hair over time. I hope that answers your question and maybe other curlies will chime in.

Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.

Hmmm. Do any of your products have alcohol in them? That is very drying. I actually can't use any oil on my hair - it makes it worse. Can you get the oil out so that it isn't greasy without using sulfate poo?

Yes, my shampoo, conditioner, curl creme, and air spray all have alcohol in them. Does this mean I need new products again?

My hot oil treatment also has alcohol in it. I am unable to get all of the oil out on the first rinse out. But it gives my hair shine while the remains stay in and as the week goes on with my cowashing, it comes out.

this is a truth that the people are satisfied with their hair till they are using
any kind of hair product but this is a common thinking that if we will use some product for a while then our hair will become normal forever but opposite to this thinking its true that the hair remain in a good condition till when we are using some product
