Hi curlies

I'm a 3b curly girl and have just below shoulder length hair. My problem is that my hair in the crown area tends to get strait and flat... My bangs, front area and in the length is curly and nice, but the crown area wont work with me... It wasn't an issue when my hair was shorter and before CG...

What to do??? I've tried clipping ang it doesn't work for me... Any advise, tips and tricks will be very much appreciated - thanks !!

First picture --> flat/strait hair in crown area
Second picture --> shorter + before CG and with curls all over

PS. I have some strands next to my ears that wont curl and I've tried skip curling with my finger but it doesn't work... Any advise on that...??

a trim to put some bounce back... and, MOISTURE. deep treatments, very moisturizing leave in... if your hair is fine, then a protein treatment.....

i have 3a hair, but the more moisturized my hair is, the more curls, volume i have in the crown area, some 3b curls there.

Thanks I'll try a trim and cut some layers too.
I tend to get sticky hair when I do deep treatments - how can that be?

what are your hair properties? (that helps you with good/bad ingredients for your hair)

what products do you use? what are the ingredients?

never heard of sticky as a complaint from a deep treatment -- what are you using?

It might be both the deep treatment, conditioner and the gel - I'm not sure... I have medium texture and normal porosity. I live in Denmark and we don't have that many CG-friendly product but I use the Tresemmé Naturals conditioner at the moment and use other conditioners that doesn't have silicone in them. And then I use a gel as styling.

My hair just don't want to work with me these days and it really annoys me. I like my hair long but it was so much curlier all over when it was shorter. Back then I was only using conditioner as styling (and was shampooing too), but I don't seem to get the same look when I only condition as styling now - then it gets sticky and weight down.

I'm really frustrated, because I love my curls but they don't want to do anything at the moment...

you definitely need to get long layers cut into your hair, the weight might be pulling it down.
i'm not familiar with what products you can get in denmark, i'd suggest looking at product websites to see if they have international shipping. i know curl junkie does have one or two retailers based in europe. i am sure others do, too.
