My hair isn't curling anymore...

So I originally thought up until recently that I had 3b hair... That is until my hair had stopped curling at the back and then getting looser and looser at the front.

I now think I may have combination hair (I'm trying to be positive and not refer to my hated hair as "the frizz pile" for the time being. ) or rather I'm really not sure. It is curly at the front and on the bottom layer but on the top, it's not really curly at all. It's got a bit of a wave to it.

I don't know what to do to get my curl back. I'm so depressed since I started using this method last year and I'm desperately trying to grow my hair out and now it's just looking worse now that the curls seems to have disappeared over time. What do I do? Am I styling it wrong? Can provide a picture too.

Over time since using the CG method I have lost my curl. I have tried everything to keep my hair healthy including strand test to make sure that my hair is moisture/protein balanced. Products I have used are (to name a few):

Curl Junkie Daily Fix Cleansing Conditioner
Alchemy Wheat Protein and Macadamia Oil Shampoo
Curl Junkie Assurance Smoothing Lotion
Mop Top Daily Conditioner
Karen's Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia Leave-In Conditioner (this was fantastic)
Curls Coconut Sublime Moisturising Conditioner
Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter
Frizz Ease Gel
RinaScentia Silk Protein Treatment
DIY Flaxssed gel
Jojoba oil
TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier
MyHoneyChild Coconut Hair Milk
How long is your hair?

I have the same, the longer my hair gets, the more wavy and especially close to my scalp it is more wavy than curly. I cut it quite a lot so it keeps it curly but if my hair really doesn't want to curl anymore I will wear it in protective styles a lot for a long term period and after that, it curls better or I finger coil it and then seperate the finger coil strands. I don't really know how to explain it but for me it's a constant cycle of trying different things with my hair to keep it curly and not wavy
This sounds stupid, but sometimes I have to be a little mean to my hair. Sulfate shampoo, silicones, the works. Or I will dry it straight and wear it like that a couple days. For me, it's like hitting the reset button and I can get 2c/3a combo if I'm lucky. Don't know why this works for me or if it would work for you, but I figured I'd share.
2b/2c, Med density, Med Porosity, Fine/Med width, Med length, layers start below ears. Just my shot in the dark for my hair properties. Growing out bleached highlights Fall 2012, growing out dyed hair March 2013. Makes for a confusing mix of properties. Learning how different processes affect hair properties. Using lot of drugstore products right now. Determining what's right for my hair in my climate. Pittsburgh has a little bit of everything weather wise. Modified CGM since March 2013.
I feel your pain. Although, correct me if I'm wrong, did you mention on a previous post that your hair doesn't like protein? You could try a protein free moisturizing DT ALL night. Or if your hair likes protein, try a protein DT all night. Just a thought, not sure if you tried that already, it worked well for me when I was transitioning. And I was having a similar problem to yours, and I found that styling like this works well for me (still in the works though):

Good news!! (sorry for the long delay)

I did a protein treatment, stopped using KCCC, even washed my hair in the morning, and I saw no improvements. However, Friday I had to wash my hair at night, but right after I plopped I realized that I forgot to do some stuff, so I took my hair out of the plop for about an hour after plopping for 5 mins. Since sleeping on my wet hair would damage it, I decided to plop again for the night and went to sleep. The next morning I found volumous curls, and I could see improvement to the roots. I styled with mouse and a little hair spray. I've done this 3 times and my hair has withstood wind, humidity, 100 degree heat, all about a normal Nebraska summer. I am currently experimenting with times and products as it's still not quite curling at the roots, but its much better.

I do not have a picture at this time, hopefully tomorrow! Thanks all!
