Gym in the beginning of highschool!! HELP. TIPS.

I know some people went through this, right?
I have P.E. first thing in the morning... what should I do?

Maybe try putting your hair in a loose bun and taking a towel to wipe of swear before it gets in your hair? Good luck! My school stops making us take PE in 7 th grade! Haha
I'm having the same issue .-. I just put my hair in a loose bun and try to keep sweat out of it. I don't know if there's much to do.

If your hair is long enough I definitely recommend a lose bun (grab a scrunchi instead of an elastic hair tie, since it's less likely to leave an indention). I'd also consider finding a good dry shampoo to spray on your roots at the end of class - that'll blot up most of the sweat/grease in your roots and bring back some volume. Almost all of the nicer ones come in travel size, so you can get a small/cheap one to throw in your gym locker or purse.

You just need to be careful if you have dark hair, since a lot of these products can leave a white cast that has to be brushed out... which is going to introduce some issues with your curls

I have dark hair and have had good luck with Oscar Blandi's powder, Alterna's translucent spray, and Ojon's spray (though Ojon's smells really strong).
3a/b mix, fine, high density, medium porosity with some high porosity sections throughout
Bring a mini mister(you can get them at the dollar store) and fill it with half conditioner half water. At the end of gym, take your hair out of a bun or ponytail and mist your hair, scrunch it and twirl any pieces that have more frizz with your finger. This should help revive the curls!

Hi, everyone! Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to cycle with ponytails and buns.

But the problem for me right now is my gel. Will the crunch/hold go away if I bun and ponytail my hair? Should I apply more after gym? I use 3 LA Looks gels and IC Fantasia for an OK hold... It smells bad.. Not terrible, but just chemical-y.

I think someone else suggested this, so I second spritzing your hair after class with a water/oil or water/conditioner mix. You can add in a little more gel but it shouldn't be necessary. The water/conditioner should help liven it up and restore it.

That + high buns and loose braids were my best friends during high school gym class.
Its not the most ideal time of the day but at least you get your workout in the morning. Here are a few easy gym-friendly hairstyles.
