How much to cut?

Hello my fellow curlies 😊 I need a haircut and am growing out the highlights on the length of my hair. Do I have to cut a lot of it off or can I cut little by little? The length has been dyed, straightened and highlighted so it doesn't curl like the rest. I am not going to cut it short but was thinking of cutting an inch or two. What do you think? Can I still grow it out by cutting little by little? How much to cut?-imageuploadedbycurltalk1381619849.110312.jpg

I still love how it looks but wish it was curlier. While cutting 1 or 2 inches help?

That's what I've been doing to get my damage out. My hair grows very fast. I would normally get it trimmed or cut an inch or two every 2 months or so. I've been doing this for about a year and still have some ends with highlights. It's going to take a long time.

Ok thank you 😊 my hair grows very fast too. Taking 2 inches off will make it much more bouncy and manageable like the top. So I think that's what I'm going to continue doing 💕

You should still be able to retain relatively the same length or a tad bit shorter. Go longer in between cuts if you're shorter than you want to be. Glad you're cutting the damage out, yay for healthy hair!
